Time flies doesn’t it. It seems like just yesterday that we were welcoming in the New Year and now it is the end of February and not a blog post written or a website updated!! Not that we have been sitting around doing nothing… well, perhaps, just now and then!
We have had a good start to the year with five pieces of work sold in February so far! That must be a record. We have the exhibition at the Kilteel St. Brigid’s Arts Weekend to thank for the flurry of sales. Although it is hard to part with pieces that you have worked on for a long time, it is wonderful when your work is appreciated. We continue to exhibit in Inniscara Bespoke Framers and Gallery in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin and in Las Rada Tapas and Wine Bar in Naas.
Here are the pieces that sold:
Asta’s dramatic, large scale piece, ‘When Winter Bares the Trees’
Colleen’s atmospheric interpretation of the seashore, ‘Dollymount’
Helen’s mixed media piece, ‘Unfolding Waves’
Kathrina’s exuberantly stitched piece, ‘Water Meadows’
And, another sale for Asta – her ‘Interwoven Thoughts’ is gone to a good home.
