What is it they say about waiting at the bus stop for ages and then three buses come at once! It feels a little like that for us at the moment as we prepare for back to back and simultaneous exhibitions this summer. It is a very exciting time for our group and it is really good to have lots of deadlines to meet so that we actually get to finish some of those pieces of work that are just waiting for that final burst of inspiration or perspiration!!
We are preparing for an exhibition in Ballyroan Library, Rathfarnham which is a wonderful, bright, contemporary library with a dedicated exhibition space. We will be there from 2nd – 15th June.
We will have a new exhibition going up in Las Rada Wine and Tapas Bar, Naas on 7th June and will be changing it again at the end of July. The current exhibition has been a great success for us with three pieces sold, two of those on the opening night!
We will be exhibiting in the Rua Red Cafe Wall space from 20th June to 20th July.
And to finish off our summer with something special, we have been invited to exhibit in the Blue Egg Gallery in Wexford from 15th August to mid September. This is a wonderful gallery space owned by Mary Gallagher who curates beautiful exhibitions and has a particular interest in ceramics and textiles. We are really looking forward to this opportunity.
