We continue to exhibit at Las Rada Wine and Tapas bar, Naas and on warm, summer evenings we have been known to enjoy a glass or two in their lovely courtyard.  Drop in and see our current offerings including the one above – ‘Yellow Meadow’ by Dee Kelly which showcases her abilities in, and love of, stitch.  It reminds me of an Tuscan landscape – hot, balmy evenings looking out on the wonderful countryside…. but I believe it is a landscape closer to home!  

Also on exhibit is ‘Dispersal’ (below) by Kathrina Hughes.  Kathrina’s recent work has been an exploration of seed heads and in this piece she has taken a linen napkin and dyed, cut, printed and embellished it with hand stitch using metallic thread, evoking the fragility of seed heads and  their scattering to pollinate.
