Inniscara Gallery Niamh Harney of Inniscara Bespoke Framing and Art Gallery in Rathcoole has always been a great supporter of our work. She has provided the framing for many of our pieces and is very happy to give advice and work out ways of mounting and framing textile art – which is not always easy or straightforward!
Inniscara also has a gallery space where Niamh hangs work from the diverse range of artists who cross her threshold. We have been lucky to have many of our pieces accepted to hang there. It is a great place to find everything from that investment piece of art that you will treasure for the rest of your life to the small pieces that make beautiful gifts and will give pleasure to someone else for years to come.
We recently sold two pieces there – it is a lovely endorsement when someone wants to purchase your work. The first piece is Marie Dunne’s ‘Hand me Down’ – such graceful, ethereal felted work with a lovely back story of dresses handed down from older sister to younger.
And ‘Delicate’ is the name of the second piece sold. This is Barbara Seery’s work – a screen print on cotton, defined by fabric pens and hand embroidery.
Congratulations to the artists involved and thanks to Inniscara for giving us another space to show our work. Inniscara are on Facebook – link here https://www.facebook.com/InniscaraBespokeFraming/
