As a creative group we are often advised not to always look at big picture with a piece we are working on, but to break or CUT it into smaller pieces. So with this in mind I keep a view finder (small frame or picture mount) nearby at all times. I move the view finder around my piece of work to see if any smaller piece actually says more.
From our recent Indigo dye session I came across a piece in the view finder that I think looks like a Halloween character. Can anyone else see it?
So don’t fly off the handle trying to tackle the big picture, grab the view finder and see what emerges from a smaller and more manageable piece.
Happy Halloween!
