Excitement is mounting as we get ready for two new exhibitions this month. Here are a few snippets of the new work to whet your appetite but really folks, you have to see them in person!

You already received our notice about ‘A Taste of Art’ which is an event in collaboration with Two Cooks Restaurant in Sallins, taking place on Wednesday, 14th June. We are hanging a new exhibition in Two Cooks for the occasion. If you can’t make the event itself, feel free to call in any evening (except Monday and Tuesday) to view the work and have a glass of wine or taste their wonderful food.

We are also hanging a new exhibition in Las Rada Wine and Tapas Bar in Naas next Monday so it will be in place for the Midsummer Arts Festival Naas and Sallins, taking place on 23rd and 24th June. It is a busy and creative time for us.

We are putting serious pressure on our local framing shop as we all pile in with pieces hoping to have them framed in time. But, thanks to Niamh at Inniscara Bespoke Framers and Gallery, Rathcoole our work has been framed in time and is beautifully done, as usual!

Happy Christmas from all eighteen textile artists in element15!

We have had a lovely creative year and look forward to many more together. We started the Christmas celebrations with a night out in one of our favourite haunts – Las Rada Wine and Tapas Bar, Naas.

That night we also had a special presentation to Catherine Dowling who got married in November – we each covered three buttons in something special and they were mounted on a hand dyed fabric backing and framed. Our own unique way of celebrating the happy occasion!
