If you get a chance, have a look at this episode of Nationwide while it is still on RTE Player:  http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/show/nationwide-21/10523430/    Mary Kennedy spends the day in McAuley Place, Naas which is an amazing project providing housing for older persons in a safe and active community in the centre of the town.   After this programme there will be a much longer waiting list for a place there, as it really showed the project at its best!   If you have never been inside you should drop in to the Convent Tea Rooms to experience the lovely cafe run by volunteers or visit the Community Centre or Arts Centre.

And, if you watch the programme long enough, you will see three members of element15 hanging our annual exhibition in the Lobby of McAuley Place last November.

Helen, Catherine and Caroline were taken totally unawares as they did not know that filming was taking place until they arrived, and certainly did not think that the cameras would be turned on them!

They gave a great performance to camera whilst trying to unpack pieces, run up and down the ladder hanging them and arranging the display of 3D items.   No pressure at all!
